Rethreads at CarriageWorks

Rethreads is a cash-free clothes, book and music exchange for the style-savvy and sustainability conscious (that includes guys, girls, and little ones!). It's happening at CarriageWorks on Saturday 19 September and it works like this: bring a piece; take another piece home! 2SER and FBi will be on the scene.

Vintage connoisseurs Pigeon Ground and Newspaper Taxi will be manning stalls. And the bar will be open for all the overwhelmed swappers. So start rummaging, clear out some clutter, and decide which of your pre-loved possessions will become your Rethreads currency. Read More »

MadeIt Recipe
Zine Giveaway

Madeit's self-published recipe-zine edition 1 has hit the kitchen bench. The A4 16 page full colour zine is a collection of 35 sellers favourite recipes, that have been handpicked for you to enjoy. These recipes have been passed down from generation or adapted by the individual sellers into their own recipes.

'We brake for cake' Sydney Scavenger hunt

Rocket fuel designer & Bike lover Susan Goodwin is putting on another bike event in Sydney. Come on out for a fun afternoon riding around Sydney in the Rocket Fuel 'we brake for cake' scavenger hunt, on Sunday September 6th.

Registration, sign on and payment at 1.00pm at Taylor's Square on Oxford St, Darlinghurst. You will be handed a set of clues, things to do and collect in and around the city before we all meet back up to have a BBQ* prize giving and swap stories of the day. Read More »

Klei is a collection of jewellery and ornamental vessels, our work is split 50/50 between production pieces and one off works. We have a clear aesthetic that is not trend driven, we're drawn to a muted palette and organic forms. We try to make tactile pieces that look like they may have been left out in the elements and have become weathered over time. Read More »

Featured shop of the month: Pigeonhole

The kinds of products that I like the most are generally from smaller more offbeat designers. I go for bold colourways items that are a little retro, nostalgic or that have some quirky narrative or story. Most items have some story behind them at any rate – be it a personal affiliation with the designer, a story of discovery from some obscure part of the world, or some other funny tale. There's always something random in the stores, but that's what makes it fun. Read More »
